Reason Book was Chosen: A Birthday present from my friend Adrienne. I've had this on my bookshelf for some time. This year I've decided to read all the books that I've received from Adrienne over the years.
My Thoughts

This is a pretty immense Sci-Fi novel, it feels like there are six novellas inside one overarching novel. A War is breaking out whilst seven characters embark on a pilgrimage to a planet called Hyperion, at the beginning of the novel we don’t know why these people have been selected but whist they’re on their way each character tells their story of how and why they are there. It’s a very clever novel, I like the way the stories intertwine to become this bigger story, each of their stories are different yet amazing in their own way. It ends on a bit of a cliff-hanger and I have the next novel to read next, I can hardly wait to see what happens next.
