Reason Book was Chosen: I got my wife a 100 Movies Bucket List Scratch Off Poster and this is one of the movies on the list, before we watch the film I’d like to read the original material (I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record!)
My Thoughts

I was expecting to enjoy this and I really did. It’s the kind of novel I would generally read and the writing is superb. Amazingly it’s my first McCarthy read and sure won’t be my last (I have his Border Trilogy on my bookshelf).

The main characters Llewelyn Moss, Ed Tom Bell and Anton Chigurh are all very well portrayed. I love how ruthless Chigurh is and I guess you have to be in his line of work, but he seems to take it to a whole new level.

All in all a great read one I recommend to anyone who does have a week disposition as it is very gruesome and bloody in places.
