I actually had Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth planned for this year's reading list, but when I saw this book about Notre Dame, I decided to read this instead. I've always loved the Notre Dame cathedral and want to learn more about it.My Thoughts
Quick read (under an hour) providing a short history of Notre Dame, from its initial construction in 1163, to Hugo’s depiction in the 1800s, to the 2019 fire that left us gutted. I love this building and this was a nice homage to its greatness, beauty, and soul.
