Reason Book was Chosen: I got this book on release in 2009 and like a lot of my books it's been on my bookshelf gathering dust ever since. I’m a massive fan of Chuck Palahniuk, I often refer to him as my favourite author as he’s the one that got me back into reading in Adulthood, and I’m keen to catch up on all his novels (I’ve read 12/23 prior to this).
My Thoughts

I don’t know who wrote the quote “Chuck Palahniuk’s finest novel since the generation-defining Fight Club.” but they are dead wrong! Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed reading it but this is not as good Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Choke, Lullaby, Diary, Haunted, Rant or Snuff which all came before it.

It’s an interesting concept, it’s takes a little while to get used to the language Palahniuk uses but after a couple of chapters it’s fine. The “dispatches” by Pygmy were really funny, often violent (obviously) but funny with it.
