Reason Book was Chosen:

I’ve always wanted to read Terry Pratchett’s Discworld Series but I was daunted by the number of novels, my friend Ian is constantly telling me I should read them. I’ve only read two Pratchett books prior to me putting this Reading List together; The Truth (Discworld #25 published in 2000, read in 2014) and The Carpet People (his debut novel published in 1971, non-Discworld, read in 2010) both of which I enjoyed. So I figured I’d add the first of the Discworld series onto this year’s list and then hopefully I’ll continue with the series going forward (there’s 41 in total).
