Reason Book was Chosen: As I’ve mentioned previously I’ve challenged myself to read all of King’s work in almost publication order (some are a little out of sync which I’ll explain in these entries as we go through). This is King's 15th published book (his 12th Novel). I’ve skipped Firestarter, Danse Macabre (non-fiction), Cujo and Different Seasons (short story collection) as I don’t have copies of them at the moment but will return to them as soon as I have. The intention this year is to read the entire Dark Tower series back-to-back (8 novels if you include The Wind Through the Keyhole), I also read the short story The Little Sisters Of Eluria which takes place before The Gunslinger, hence the break between this and my last completed read. I’ve read The Gunslinger before back in my teens so I’m really looking forward to revisiting this world.
My Thoughts

A brilliant novel and great start to the series, so much happens in such a short space of time and King’s storytelling is just amazing. I really got lost in his world.
