Reason Book was Chosen: I really enjoyed the V for Vendetta and Watchmen comic books so I wanted to read more of Alan Moore’s works. This is highly recommended after winning a number of awards including the 2000 Bram Stoker Award for Best Illustrated Narrative so I added both volumes to my Amazon wishlist and my Brother (bless him) bought me volume two as a birthday present in 2010. I finally got around to buying the volume one in 2014. Making a reading list has changed my life and allows me to read books on my bookshelf that otherwise would still be gathering dust.
My Thoughts

I loved it. Not sure the PC brigade would allow this to be published in 2020, there might even be calls for Alan Moore to be “cancelled” due to the sexists attitude of the comic. A wonderfully written graphic novel and a joy to read. Also includes the short story “Allan and the Sundered Viel” which is an added bonus.
