Reason Book was Chosen: As you’ll know if you’ve read some previous entries I'm a big fan of Neil Gaiman's work. Following on from The Sandman series (which I’ve completed this year) Gaiman produced some follow on material, this was amongst them and as far as I’m aware is the last of Sandman stories.
My Thoughts

A great prequel to the Sandman series, I loved this idea of a previous iteration of Dream’s life along with that of the Endless.  I liked meeting Dream’s parents, the theory of which is quite interesting.  The imagery in the novel is amazing it’s so well drawn and the colour work is wonderful.

I’d recommend this to anyone that has enjoyed the Sandman series but I’d also say that although the events in this happen before the series it better to read this after you’ve read The Sandman.
