My Thoughts

This is a collection of short stories. I purchased it to read the main one, The Tale of Sinuhe, and also ended up reading these as well:

  • The Dialogue of a Man and his Soul (Ba)
  • The Tale of the Shipwrecked Sailor
  • The Tale of the Eloquent Peasant

I really enjoyed the Tale of the Eloquent Peasant. It’s about a peasant who is robbed and who pleads his case (eloquently) before the powerful. The Tale of Sinuhe is about a man with wanderlust who strays from Egypt only to find his way back.
