Reason Book was Chosen: I started reading this originally as part of a dial in discussion which Neil Strauss was hosting; however due to the time difference between the LA and the UK I was listening on repeat and missed some of the intricacies of the discussion and as a result I decided to leave the group. I've been wanting to read it ever since but never dedicated enough time due to the length and (presumed) difficulty level of the novel. I'm going to start afresh when I go back to this but I'm really looking forward to finally reading it.
My Thoughts

Wow.  This is without a doubt the most complicated book I’ve ever read!  I tried a couple of times previously and gave up, this time however I endured and succeeded in completed it, I feel like I’ve achieved something special.

I definitely missed a lot, there is so much going on and the way Joyce changes his style for every chapter makes it a difficult read.  This however is doesn’t detract from the great writing, it’s absolutely wonderful in places.  I won’t share any here you just have to read it for yourself.

I really need to read it again but rather than delve straight back in I’m going to let it digest and probably put it back on my reading list for next.
