Reason Book was Chosen: I’m going to watch a Royal Exchange Theatre Production of Wuthering Heights in February so thought I’d squeeze this in beforehand as I’ve not read it. My friend Adrienne bought me The Collected Novels of The Brontë Sisters which contains Jane Eyre (Charlotte), Villette (Charlotte), The Professor (Charlotte), Wuthering Heights (Emily) Agnes Grey (Anne) and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (Anne). So it’s a good chance to read one of them (prior to this I’ve only read The Professor).
My Thoughts

A wonderful book, I read it in less than a week in order to have finished it in time to see the theatrical production at the Royal Exchange. I really enjoyed it, it was very dark, and magical in places. I found I didn’t really like any of the characters in the novel but their relationships and the events of their lives where fantastical.
