I asked Ralph de la Vega for a list of the 10 books that have influenced him the most during his life. Ralph is an unbelievably-accomplished executive who has an inspirational story of arriving in the United States from Cuba without his family at the age 10. From there, he went on to become the Vice Chairman of AT&T, Inc., an author of the book Obstacles Welcome, and the current Chairman of the De La Vega Group. Ralph is an inspiration to many and was instrumental in working with Steve Jobs to provide wireless service to the first iPhone.

Great list. I’ve only read 4 of your 10 and got benefit from each. I’m always challenging myself to find the hidden nuggets in each read. I have a career journal that I reference for presentations. Now I’ve got another 6 thanks to you Ralph. You’re an inspiration.
