On a recent podcast interview, I was asked if I had any suggestions for someone wanting to read more. I said my one piece of advice would be to read books that you want to read. It may sound simple, but a lot of people read the books they think they are supposed to read, whether it’s from the NY Times bestseller list to books their friends are reading. But, you’re more likely to stick with a book, read it fast, and retain the information if it’s a topic for which you are deeply passionate.
