Reason Book was Chosen:
I've never read through the entire Chronicles of Narnia series. It's time to remedy that. I may read some of these to my daughters as part of the reading project. My Thoughts
The story follows the horse (Bree) and his boy (Shasta). It’s a journey of sorts where Shasta starts as a slave and becomes a king with the guidance of Aslan at each major point in his life. Aslan takes on different forms as a guide. This story takes place during the reign of King Peter, so during the timeframe of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
