My Thoughts

Really interesting book that starts out with a rather short fable about a bee-hive that then leads into an exploration of the ideas from the fable. The main thesis is that some vice can lead to benefit for the general public. It was published in 1714. The most extraordinary thing about this book was to see a number of ideas later picked up by Adam Smith written here nearly 50 years before Smith wrote about them.
