Incredible story the author describes as both fiction and nonfiction at the same time. It’s the story of a refugee from Iran who ends up in Oklahoma via Dubai and Italy. It’s a look at memories, stories, listening vs speaking, and love. Daniel ties together themes in such a beautiful way even amidst the tragedies of life. This is one of the better new books I’ve read in a while.
